The Scouting Eye^TM

Our Scouting Eye™ service offers players, parents, and coaches the opportunity to obtain a professional performance evaluation from our experienced scouts and coaches, as well as suggestions and recommendations on how to improve/refine skills.

Why invest in Scouting Eye™?

1. Not all instructors are created equal. Some may not have the eye, the experience, or the qualifications to be diagnosing a hitter’s swing or a pitcher’s mechanics. Others may teach skills and techniques which are, to say the least, counter-productive.
2. In addition, some coaches just don’t have enough time to devote to your son or daughter. They are not able to give your child the individual attention that he/she deserves.
3. Lesson time and cage time is expensive.

A Scouting Eye™ report from our experienced professional scouts/instructors can help you make the most of that practice time by pointing you in the right direction!

Here’s how it works:

1. Break out the video camera and shoot some footage of the hitter’s swing or the pitcher’s motion and delivery. Hitters: We’d like to see them from the side with the camera capturing them from head to toe and their eyes looking at the camera. Pitchers: We prefer to see them from two angles. From behind home plate and from the side (as you’ll see in these pictures).

3. Upon receipt of the video, our professional scouts/instructors will analyze and evaluate the player, and offer constructive recommendations in a 3-4 page report to help the player improve his/her skills.
4. The fee is $70.00 U.S. offseason (September to January) ($100.00 in-season) for the basic written Scouting Eye report which analyzes the player’s mechanics and provides suggestions on how the player can improve. We also provide an additional tier of service where we will personally call you on the telephone and talk to you about your technique and how you can improve your performance. The fee for the basic written Scouting Eye report along with this interactive telephone communication service is $100.00 U.S., an offseason rate from September to January. ($150.00 in-season)

6. We do charge a $25 fee for returned checks.

Scouting Eye Premium Service Scouting Eye Premium Service - Phone Call Plus Email Report An additional tier of service where we will personally call you on the telephone and talk to you about your technique and how you can improve your performance in addition to our email report. The fee for the basic written Scouting Eye report along with this interactive telephone communication service is $100.00 U.S., an offseason rate from September to January.
